My name is Roman.
I'm a builder and explorer that values adaptability, utility and simplicity.
For 5 or 6 years after school, I made pictures like these. At some point, I wanted to be part of making the bigger picture.
So, I joined forces with a designer and we started BLDG, a creative studio, print shop and art gallery in Kentucky.
After a couple years, it was time to move on to a bigger city. So I moved to Chicago and founded Nelson Cash, a branding and design studio.
At some point, I needed a change of pace and more meaning in my work. So I joined the Chicago Design Museum to build exhibits and furniture.
These days, I'm building hardware and software for computer automated controlled environments for mushroom growth through Sojourn Fare, designing and building experiences with The Number Project and spending time with my dog Walter.
